It is manufactured and used mainly for the manufacture and reconditioning of brake shoes in passenger vehicles, machinery and various industrial applications. It is most often glued directly to the shoe with resin adhesives, and then vulcanized, which means that it must stay at least 30 minutes at 180 degrees when glued.
We offer two types of linings in terms of material. The first is FR very high quality and GR standard material. Due to the discontinuation of the production of FR linings, it is gradually withdrawn from sale. GR material, on the other hand, is produced in many variants: there is a version with a steel reinforcing mesh, so that it can be riveted directly on the shoes (even on the large ones) and additionally gives the possibility to use it in places that bend during operation. One of the unusual brakes we had the opportunity to remanufacture was the anchor brake, which is designed to slow down the anchor as it is lowered. It is also used in handbrake bands on agricultural tractors and in bands for automatic transmissions. This material is very resistant to wear after riveting, but retains its flexibility.
Another type of linings we have on offer is woven lining, which is made of glass fibers impregnated with friction materials, or more precisely, the friction material is pressed there. This is the lining used in such equipment as elevators.
The brake linings we offer are used for the manufacture or reconditioning of brake shoes for cars and vans, as well as construction, agricultural machinery and other industrial applications. We offer three types of brake linings:
